The Social Portfolio

ABOUT US

The Social portfolio works to engage students in a fun and social setting, giving them a break from the rigmarole of study and the chance to build new relationships.

What events do we run?

QUIZ NIGHT & PUBCRAWLS

Our two annual quiz nights are some of our most well-received events throughout the year, allowing anyone on campus to put together a team of mates, or make up a team of new friends, and participate in a sold-out night of trivia and games, in the hopes of taking home a win. Pub-crawls are another biannual event on our calendar, the name really tells you what this event is all about.

Two busses of students travel around Perth, for a night of song and dance, and a few responsible drinks. These events are profitable and successful, thanks to the help of our volunteers; our RSA spotters, first-aid team, sober marshals, and event management team, who all work tirelessly to ensure our events are safe, accessible, and responsible so that every attendee goes home healthy, happy and safe.

SCIENCE UNION BALL

Science Union’s annual ball is our biggest event of the year. It’s a night of food, drinks, dancing and fun. With a new theme and venue every year, it is always a memorable night for those who attend. Science Union Ball is consistently followed by lots of new interest in our club and events by students. It is our most formal event of the year, with high standards of dress & behaviour expected from guests.
