Hey guys! My name’s Nick and I’m a third year, majoring in Environmental Science and Natural Resource Management (a bit like economics). I joined Science Union last year as the Media Officer, but this year I’m the President! My role is to form a link between Faculty of Science staff and students, as well as to Science Union committee members. Ensuring students are well represented is also a priority for me, and that students actually enjoy their time at UWA! If there are any questions about Science Union, or UWA in general, feel free to send a message my way!

In my spare time I enjoy photography and rock climbing. You’ll catch me in my lab repeating an experiment, by the river taking some photos or occasionally flying to Melbourne to shoot things with X-rays at the Australian Synchrotron. If you have any questions about anything post-graduate, biochemistry or research related please get in contact: email@example.com

Hey everyone, I’m Liv and I'm a second year student studying Medical Sciences and Music Studies with aspirations of becoming an orthopaedic surgeon. I'm really good at stealing kitchen appliances from my friends as well as crying whilst binge-watching medical dramas. I can play five instruments and if we can play music together you're already my friend. As the 2018 Media Officer, my job entails running this website you’re currently on as well as keeping everyone updated via our social media. Salut ! I’m Camille (but everyone calls me Camé) and I’m a French exchange student doing my third year of Chemistry and Biology at UWA. I joined Science Union as International Rep, and my role is to help international students and exchange students in making sure they have the greatest time at UWA. Hey gang, I’m Hayden. I’m studying a double major in Chem and Biochem, and I’m the Science Union’s Social Vice President for 2018! My role on committee is to try and get as many people involved in UWA’s vibrant campus culture as possible. Whether that be just giving you a chance to meet people outside of your classes at some of our sundowners, or getting you down to our pub crawls, quiz nights, or the other bigger events we’ve got planned for the year. I’m pretty much always on campus doing one lab report or another, so if you have any questions about what’s coming up, ideas you reckon would be a good time, or just want to chat, feel free to flick me a message on Facebook or email me on firstname.lastname@example.org

I'm Sarah, one of SU's new social officers. I am studying Chemistry with the plan of attempting both specialisations in the coming year. I joined SU only a few months ago but so far its been a blast. I can't wait to see what this team pulls out of the bag over the coming semesters - so get excited!
Alohaaa! I’m Carla and I’m currently completing my sixth (and final!) year of studies as I finish off a Master of Public Health degree. I am this year’s Orientation Director which means I’ll be directly involved with organising fresher events and activities to ensure all new students to UWA have a very fun, wholesome and well-rounded university experience :))
Hi, my name is Jill and I'm the welfare VP this year on SU! I'm studying marine science and chemistry but in my spare time I am also responsible for organising fun welfare events where you can relax, meet new people and learn some new skills. It's my job to make sure you are all having a happy, healthy and safe time at uni, and if you have any queries or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me or have a chat at one of our events
Hi I'm Aidan Lewins, the Science Union Welfare Officer for 2018. As welfare officer it's my responsibility to look out for the well-being of all students who are a part of the faculty of science, whether that's because of difficulties with your course itself (e.g. unfair assessments or unrealistic unit expectations), or literally any other factors that might be influencing your general well-being. I'm a second year student studying a double major in medical sciences and physics - honestly if that doesn't scream I understand your suffering then I don't know what more I can do. If you're feeling concerned about anything or anyone related to the science faculty or just in general, feel free to fling me a message or email, or just approach me around campus to have a chat for some personal advice, and some advice on the resources that UWA offers to help deal with whatever might be happening. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Hey! I'm Kaleigh, a 2nd year majoring in human bio and physiology. As your sports rep it's my role to get people involved in all things sportz related at uni- especially interfac sport (leave space on your timetable on Wednesdays 12-2pm!!) I spend most my time down at the beach either doing surf life saving or taking my beagle for a swim. If you have any questions direct all messages (and dog pics) to email@example.com
// My name is Kevin and I have a basketball game tomorrow. //
This is Kevin. He likes sportz. He also made me write his description for him, hence the basketball meme. We sometimes have difficulty getting him to smile when he thinks about nobody coming to interfac sports on Wednesdays. Please come play sport with Kev on Wednesdays 12-2pm so we can turn that frown upside down. If you come to interfac you can also sign my petition to stop Kevin from dabbing. Kevin also hates celery, much to my dismay, and has pledged his allegiance to Migos. Kevin can eat a whole pizza faster than you can bat your eyelids at him, so make sure you always carry around celery to ward him off.
GENERAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Hey dudes I’m Tahlia and I’m an OCM for 2018. I’m a second year studying sport science and exercise and health. I get to provide glorious puns, free hugs and a helping hand whenever needed. If you ever need a chit chat, help finding a class or general uni advice then hit me up on campus or flick me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Hey hey hey! I’m Emily De Castro and i’m one of Science Union’s OCMs for 2018. I’m currently a second year studying (prepare for the mouthful) Microbiology & Immunology and Anatomy & Human Biology. My job is to basically help the big guns on committee wherever needed. If you have questions about Science Union or university life in general, feel free to chuck me a Facebook message or email at email@example.com.
Hey there, I’m Megan! I currently in second year studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as well as Marketing. I was on Science Union last year as one of the Fresher Representatives and this year I’m a handy dandy OCM. I would encourage everyone to get involved in a club you enjoy at uni *cough* Science Union *cough* as it has made my time at university so fun! A little fact about me is that, despite how loved they are, I hate strawberries. I love meeting new people, so strike up a chat if you happen to see me around!
Hey everyone!!! I'm Michael, though most people know me as Weiry, and am an OCM on SU this year. I'm a fifth year engineering student, currently doing my masters in mechanical engineering. My hobbies include baking banana bread/cheese cakes, being 6'5'' and having hair on my lower back in the shape of a love heart. If I'm not being a cool kid and playing frisbee with the boiz, I'll be in the library regretting all my life decisions and questioning why I'm paying the university to put me through hell. So if you see me around campus, feel free to say 'hi' and I'll throw some strong finger guns your way.
Hi! My name is Becky and i'm one of your fabulous OCMs for this year. I am currently completing my honours in microbiology and immunology and I REALLY love science and aim to share that passion with as many people as I can! If you're hanging around QE2 and need a coffee or want to learn more about funky brain eating amoebas then hit me up :)
