Prosh

April Fools day is the day Proshformers take over the city. Science union will be having a float in the Proshession through the city. Our theme is Sci-Fi/fantasy, dress up in your best outfit for a chance to jump on the float. Come down the night before to help us put together some float decorations. Check with committee members for details. If you can't help us set up the float, come on down to Oak lawn at 4am for the PROSH Rave, with V all round. Pick some papers up and jump on a bus into the city to go nuts selling Prosh :)

ReUnion

Our next social event will be the much anticipated ReUnion on friday the 24th of April. Stay tuned for more details.

Sports

Inter-fac sports have now started, and science union is aiming to participate every week. All are welcome, any skill is acceptable, just a wish to participate.
Sport happens every Wednesday afternoon, generally on James Oval.
For more details contact the sports reps by phone or email;

Welcome to Science Union
Welcome to the new 2009 Science Union website!

The Science Union is second oldest established Faculty Society on the UWA campus and is run by science students for science students. The University has always been steeped in tradition and Science Union has been no exception. Over 3000 students are enrolled in some form of science degree, and the SU endeavours to enrich the social, educational and political lives of each and every one.

As always we begin the year with Fresher camp, which is a weekend of socialising and a great way to meet people that you will be spending the next 3 years with. Throughout the year we also hold smaller events such as sundowners, PJ party, Science reunion, and the list goes on...

The Science Union is actively involved in interfaculty sports, which provides students an opportunity to display their talents in a friendly environment. Science Union endeavours to bring a closer relationship between academia & industry by holding careers nights and other educational events such as tutoring & course advice sessions.

We encourage all students - especially science students - to join the Science Union and become actively involved in campus life.
